Hello! This is where we, Moka Mera (“Moka Mera”, “us”, “we” or “our”), describe how we process personal data that you provide to us when accessing or using our applications (“App”) or our website at mokamera.com (“Site”) (the App and the Site together “Services”).
We care about your privacy. We have therefore implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data when accessing and using our Services. Your personal data is available only to persons authorized by us. Moka Mera is the data controller for the processing of your personal data.
2. Which categories of personal data we process and why?
Access and use of the App
The App does not collect any personal data. In addition, the App does not include any advertisements or links to third-party websites that could feature external cookies or other tracking technology.
In Moka Mera Lingua, one of the minigames available within the App utilizes the device’s microphone for operation and your permission to use the microphone will be asked in advance. The audio recorded through the microphone will not be stored or otherwise used outside the minigame.
Moka Mera Emotions, lets users recognize a range of emotions in themselves with emotional filters. The user can take photos of the user’s face and enable filters on the photos. The photos are processed only within the App for the above-mentioned purpose and no personal data will be transmitted outside the App. The photos will remain stored both in the App (15 latest photos) and in an image folder on the user’s mobile device until the user deletes them.
Access and use of the Site
We may process personal data that you voluntarily provide to us via the Site when using contact forms or subscribing to newsletters, e.g. your name and e-mail address. We process such personal data in order to fulfill our legitimate interest of responding to your request.
Additionally, we may collect statistics on Site visitors, including IP addresses and time stamps of your requests or actions. We process such personal data in order to fulfill our legitimate interest of understanding how our Site is used and to develop and improve our Site.
Based on your consent, we may process your e-mail address to send direct marketing information to you relating to the App, the Site, our operations and other solutions and services provide by or through us. For opting-out of receiving such e-mails, please see section ‘Your Rights’ below.
Statistics and development of Services
We may process all your personal data also for statistical purposes and for developing, testing and improving our Services. We process such personal data in order to fulfill our legitimate interest of aggregating statistics in order to understand how our Services are used and to develop and improve our Services.
3. Will we disclose Your personal data to third parties?
We will not transfer your personal data to third parties without your permission, unless required by applicable laws and regulations.
We may use third-party service providers to provide technical solutions or services that relate to our processing of your personal data, and these service providers may access and process the personal data as necessary for the service providers to provide their technical solutions or services to us.
4. For how long is Your personal data retained?
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary in order to provide the Services to you. You may terminate the provision of Services to you by contacting us using contact details below, or by using separate functionalities that may be offered for that purpose within the Services. After that we will within three months securely delete the personal data.

Please note that the cookies will not enable us to access information stored on your device. We use the following third-party services that may deliver their own cookies to your device that are governed by separate privacy policies:

If you revoke your consent, we still have a right to continue to process the personal data that we already have collected based on your previous consent.
You can opt-out of receiving promotional e-mails by following instructions in those e-mails. If you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional customer information, such as e-mails about your App account or our ongoing business relations.
You also have, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, a right to erasure of personal data, restriction of processing, to object to certain processing, and to data portability.
Should you have any issues regarding our processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
